The examination dates for recruiting Sub-Inspectors (SI) and Assistant Sub-Inspectors (ASI) in the Uttar Pradesh Police have been made public by the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB). The application process also started today, January 9, 2023 for these 921 vacant positions.
Interested applicants who meet the eligibility criteria can submit their registration online on the official website – uppbnicin till January 30. Of total openings, 89 positions are for the post of Sub-Inspector while 832 vacancies have been notified for Assistant Sub-Inspector.
As per the official notification, the UP Police ASI exam 2023 is scheduled to be organized on March 19. Selected candidates will draw pay scale between Rs 35,400 to Rs 1,12,400.
SI recruitment will take place first based on 3-tier process – written test, PET/PST round followed by document verification. The exam pattern comprises 200 objective-type questions from general awareness, reasoning, maths, Hindi, English and law.
