UPPSC PCS Final Result 2023 Declared, 251 Candidates Selected
The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has announced the final result of the Provincial Civil Services Exam 2023. A total of 251 candidates have qualified and will be appointed to various administrative posts in the UP government. Siddhartha Gupta topped the exam taken by over 5 lakh aspirants. 167 male and 84 female candidates made it to the final list. Selected candidates will now be allotted civil service posts based on merit, choice, and vacancies.
Fake Doctor Held for Illegal Abortion in Gurugram
Gurugram Police arrested a 37-year-old man, Mohammed Saurabh, for posing as a doctor and conducting an illegal abortion. Though Saurabh had done MBBS from China, he failed to qualify the MCI exam but opened a clinic using forged certificate. He admitted to performing the illegal abortion for a rape victim for Rs 8,000. This highlights risks of visiting unqualified medical practitioners. Students must check credentials before treatment.
DGCA Probing Fake Certificate Allegations
The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) is investigating complaints that some employees submitted fake education certificates during recruitment.
